HAIR STRAIGHTENING AND HAIR TREATMENT

Olaplex is a hair care treatment that works to rebuild broken hair bonds.

Olaplex works on a molecular level to repair damaged and broken bonds to rejuvenate your hair. Olaplex hair treatment increases the tensile strength and restores elasticity. Olaplex protects your hair follicles from further breakage.

Japanese hair treatment is a straightening process also known as thermal conditioning, leaving your hair looking silky, straight, and wave-free for up to six months. It is a popular option to manage wavy, frizzy, curly, and unruly hair.

Developed by Japanese hair care brand Mucota, a Mucota hair treatment supports hair that is damaged and dry to give you lightness and volume while keeping your locks soft and smooth with a polished straight look. The anti-frizz effect of a Mucota treatment will last for 4 to 6 weeks.

A bond treatment is suitable to mend broken bonds in the hair for healthier hair. Bond treatments focus on repairing and restoring hydrogen bonds, replenishing protein, and mending lifted cuticles. Hair bond treatments restore your hair strength, elasticity, and shine for a natural healthy look.

Scalp treatments stimulate hair growth and circulate blood flow, unclogging hair pores to promote and maintain your healthy hair follicles and scalp to release natural conditioning oils that help relieve a dry scalp.

BALAYAGE COLOURING

Balayage hair is a hair colouring technique that involves painting colour onto the hair in a sweeping, gradual manner to create a natural, sun-kissed look. The aim of balayage is to mimic the way that hair is naturally lightened by the sun.

Balayage hair can be suitable for anyone, but the final result will depend on factors such as your face shape, skin tone, and hair type. Cheveu Salon can help you choose the right colour, placement, and technique to suit your individual needs and preferences.

Balayage hair is considered to be low maintenance compared to other colouring techniques. The gradual transition of colour and the lack of a noticeable regrowth line means that touch-ups are less frequent, making it a great option for those who want a low-maintenance, natural-looking hairstyle.

Balayage is a highlighting technique, while Ombre is a gradated style.

Ombre is done with hair colour placed horizontally with full saturation of the section of the hair, then blended upwards to diffuse the line. Balayage takes smaller sectioning of the hair and is painted onto the surface of the hair in a sweeping vertical placement. The balayage offers a more subtle natural look as opposed to the ombre with a dramatic two-toned dramatic, gradated effect from dark to light.

While balayage blonde highlights on long hair are popular when seeking the ‘sun-kissed’ effect, balayage can be applied to all hair colours and lengths for added depth and dimension.

To keep your balayage looking its best, it’s important to use hair products specifically designed for coloured hair and to avoid using heat styling tools too often. Regular trims and touch-ups with your stylist can also help to keep your balayage looking fresh.

Balayage can be done on all hair types, but the final result will depend on the thickness, texture, and condition of your hair. Our stylist at Cheveu Salon will be able to advise you on whether balayage is suitable for your hair type and what the best technique will be.

Balayage can be done on already-dyed hair, although it may require additional steps to remove any existing colour or achieve the desired look. Speak to Cheveu Hair Salon to find out about what we can do for your hair.
